So I have been having a number of issues with emails synchronising to my phone, and so in order to find out what was going on and why it was not synchronising, I called on my peers for help, and I was pointed to this tool https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/Default.aspx
The tool is called the Exchange Server Remote Connectivity Analyser.. It simulates the steps take when connecting from your phone to the exchange server and tells you where the error is .. Its still in BETA at the moment but looks like its a very cool tool to keep in the arsenal.
